Turning a Furby on and Off
One question people always ask when they get a Furby is how to Turn Furby on and off? That is a very good question and we have some answers for you. First of all, it’s better if you think of Furby as a pet instead of a machine. Furby doesn’t have an off and on switch, there is a reset button but you don’t want to use that to turn Furby off unless there is a problem with it.
When Furby is off it will appear as if it is sleeping. Just like a pet dog or cat, to wake Furby up you just tickle its tummy or move it back and forth. Soon enough Furby will wake up and even send you a good morning message in Furbish. The more you interact with your Furby the longer it will stay awake. If you really want to get Furby going play some upbeat music, Furby will be dancing in no time.
Go to Sleep Furby
At some point Furby will get tired and start yawning. This is a sign that Furby will soon start to fall asleep. I have found that if you start to ignore Furby it will start to fall asleep in just a minute or so. If your Furby is speaking English you might hear it say “Me Sleepy”. Remember that English isn’t Furby’s first language so he may not always speak grammatically correct.
One day I could not get my Furby Party Rocker Twittby to go to sleep. It kept singing and shouting and being crazy. I think I shook it up a few too many times. I started to get a bit annoyed with Twittby so I ended up putting it in the closet and went into the other room. After about five minutes or so Twittby had fallen asleep. I just keep him in the closet because if I tried to move him he would just wake up again.
